I set this up in 15 minutes. The transmitter is upstairs and the receiver is downstairs. As soon as i turned the tv on where the receiver is, I saw the picture in 1080PI had no problem setting it up. I have used it for more than a week now and it has been working great. I would give it 5 stars if they had option to add more receivers to the unit. We can add more transmitters but cannot add more receivers. I was really excited to get this product, only to discover it will not work well for me. I have a plasma television, which causes ir interference that overwhelms the receiver. I was able to block out some of the interference by attaching a strip of black card stock around the edge of the receiver, like a hood. This allows the remotes from my devices to work well. Unfortunately, it does not block enough interference for the actual Belkin remote to work. I think the main problem is that the Belkin remote is a small remote powered by a watch battery. The signal is just not strong enough to cut through the interference. I can get the Belkin remote to work if the TV screen is dark (thus, not emitting as much interference), or I get right up to the receiver.As far as picture and sound quality, it is perfect.
