The matrix switch is controlled via an iPhone app, so we can easily change sources in each room. This setup works great, didn't break the bank, and is easy to use. We've since added a television in our master bedroom and unfortunately don't have 2x ethernet there. Running ethernet to our bedroom would require a lot of drywall repair which I wasn't excited about. When I saw the IOGear product at Best Buy Magnolia tonight, I purchased it. I expected it to fail, as most wireless products never live up to expectations. I can honestly say I'm not disappointed with it. The transmitter and receiver are compact enough to hide in any set up. More importantly, you see no wires around the tv and the components are sitting 30 ft away.Set up: 46 inch aquos, Sharp blu-ray and direct TV set top box. If I plugged the hdmi FIOS direct into the transmitter I could get video and sound at 1080p.The transmitter interferes with the Sony receivers air based surround speakers despite trying different channels on the speakers. The real benefit usiing this product was not having to keep the FIOS set top box next to the tv in the bedroom as well as not having to run a long coax cable around the room. I was hoping to use one blue ray player in the living room to play movies in the bedroom. This wouldn't work but not sure if it is unique to my blue ray receiver combo or not.
